Last issue, we talked about chunks of land in Kyaer, New Kinot suddenly rising up 400 feet in the air overnight. Since then, many rescue operations to bring citizens back to the ground have been successful. Companies are manufacturing really, really, really long ladders now. However, a problem is now arising. Citizens of Kyaer don't want this to repeat or continue. (It's the ladder companies that do). The government did some research into what made these islands rise, and this is what they found out: On the night of the floating islands, an asteroid closely passed New Kinot.
The asteroid was made out of a magnetic metal known as Eisenium, which is also used for making pipes in New Kinot construction.
However, the asteroid only passed parts of New Kinot, specifically, Kyaer, and the Eisenium from the pipes brought the land up. It is still a mystery how all the houses are still floating to this day.
So how can this be avoided in the future? Simple. Find an alternative to Eisenium, and replace the pipes with said alternative. Now we wait until the pieces of land start falling so that the reconstruction may begin. More on this story as it develops.
Boy, do I love me some good ol' continuity. Anyway, back in issue 1, we talked about Farlo Jaques purchasing five spacebuses' worth of marvinium for 38 trillion U-coins. This was 27% percent of the country's TOTAL revenue. With this loss of money, taxes skyrocketed and the country's debt got bigger, therefore collapsing the economy. Conspiracy Theorists believe he will use the marvinium for something else, since the entire country of Kandonia already has enough power and electricity to last a long, long time (and would still have even if the marvinium wasn't bought). Marvinium isn't even the main source of power in Kandonia. Electricity is! All that marvinium is used for is advanced technology which also could very well be used for electricity.
In fact, we don't really need marvinium at all! Which makes this overall purchase all the more unnecessary. Kandonia needs a new president. Their current one has done mistake after mistake, such as 'joking' about a war with the Lamprians (which led to Lamprians not letting Kandonains enter their counrty), and misquoting many famous sayings to mean something else (which he is aware of), among many other things. Jaques' supporters have turned against him, and for good reason. You'll need at least 10 grand to go grocerie store shopping! (We're kidding. It's more.)
In conclusion, Kandonia is doomed, its president needs help, and it's a great depression out there now. The state of society.
While standard guns and missiles are the same in RDMZ, there is one that stands out. Tubbles. They're basically Space Torpedoes. They're the shape of a battery, and about 3 feet long, and they're full of gunpowder and dynamite. They are covered in flammable metal, and inside they sport a coat of firecrackers, covered by grenades, and then sticks of dynamite. Then a bunch of gunpowder is dropped in until every single part of the Tubble interior is full. When a Tubble is launched, the end of the metal is set on fire and it is thrown out of the ship. It takes about 20 seconds for the fire to penetrate the metal and reach the fun stuff. The entire thing then explodes and hopefully causes piercing battle damage to the victims.
The Tubble has been a method of war ever since- whaddya know!- The First Age. It's one of those timeless weapons that have seemingly been forever, like knives or guns. The Tubble can cause about 5 screams worth of damages, and if you have good aim, 6. It's certainly a barbarous form of war.
You light the Tubble by heating up one of the ends. Then get it out of the area as fast as you can (optional but recommended). You will now hear a loud boom. You have successfully launched a Tubble. Now go clean it up.
Right next to Uamia is a planet called Woarr. Woarr has two moons: one called Batelle and one called Worramler. One fact that some might not know about Worramler is that it used to be an Ümler. What is an Ümler, you may ask? An Ümler is a type of star. 21 of them orbit the galaxy. This is how planets in RDMZ get their light, rather than individual stars in Solar Systems. Well, the story goes that one day there was a big explosion that significantly altered the universe, and Worramler was turned from a burning star to a dry rock. It escaped the ring of Ümlers and started orbiting around until it reached Woarr. There, it finally settled and became a moon. Another thing is that it has a face. That's because Ümlers are sentient. Worramler in particular is a pretty nice planet, he helps out visitors, and, most importantly, he sees all that goes in his path. Literally. He's stuck in the same place forever, so if any sort of spaceship comes by, he sees it. Some of you may be wondering if Worramler ever gets bored. Sometimes he does, but usually no. He can see tiny little people on Woarr, which significantly entertains him. He can also see the clouds in Uamia. One thing he probably wouldn't like is if you land on him. It itches, and he doesn't have arms to scratch anything..
In conclusion, if you're ever taking a trip through space and come across Worramler, I recommend you have a talk with him. Afterwards you can safely brag about meeting a moon.
Sincerely, Worramler.
Back in Issue 1, I talked about how Baldy made an announcement on planting ARSs (Advanced Radio Receivers) on Morath to receive signals to pinpoint, Morath's location, as it is very hard to find. Baldy has already placed the ASRs on Morath, and they have worked successfully! After many months of research, Baldy's team have come up with a definitive picture of Morath's orbiting pattern. The image is on the left.
Does it seem complicated? If so, why? That's Right, It is complicated! Baldy has decided to create a program to show exactly where it is at any given time. This wasn't the original plan, but now that the pattern has been discovered and has been known to be not so simple, this is Baldy's next mission.
This story arc is very much not finished. It will actually develop into a much more serious story later on. More on this story as it develops.
